Eric use to run Starlight Music till the passing of Jerrica's father. When that happen, Jerrica needed money to run Starlight House but Eric refused. Jerrica, owning half of Starlight, told Eric he wasn't allow to do that. He still refused and Jerrica started Jem and the Holograms and the rest, as they say, is history.
